Waterproof floors are durable enough for the most active family. These floors are luxury vinyl (LVF), engineered to be thicker and more durable with the highest level of moisture protection.
A top transparent wear layer
LVF is layered and already five times thicker than the original product. At the top is a strong melamine coating that protects the floors from scratches, scuffs, and dents. It also helps with the waterproofing, keeping spills from absorbing.
WPC, SPC
You'll often hear these initials when exploring waterproof flooring options. Traditional LVF cores are waterproof, but wood plastic composite (WPC and stone plastic composite SPC) provide the highest moisture protection.
They won't peel or ripple. It doesn't matter how much water there is or for how long.
Both are graded for commercial use, which, as you can imagine, gets a lot of wear and foot traffic.
The only difference between waterproof floors with the WPC and SPC is the feeling underfoot. While WPC is flexible like a resilient floor, SPC feels more solid and sturdy, like a hard surface.
Let’s talk about style
This comes with beautiful wood and stone looks. Like LVF, images are taken with 3D photography, so they're clear, vibrant, and accurate.
You'll see every knot, raised grain, color, and veining variation with waterproof floors. In addition, there are micro beveling and textured looks, such as brushed, hand-scraped, distressed, and embossed-in-register.
The floors are easy to care for with just sweeping and mopping. Installation is uncomplicated, where pieces click, mat, and hover over the subfloor.
